Vision
InnerCity Struggle (ICS) is working to build a movement for educational justice in East Los Angeles by organizing and developing the leadership skills of high school students and parents to build community power for economic and educational equity.
Mission
United Students continues the work of organizing high school students to build student power and develop young leaders with the aim of transforming the quality of public education in the Eastside. United Students organizes the student body at Garfield, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Mendez, Torres and Wilson high schools around school-change campaigns to ensure that all students graduate and attend college. United Students is dedicated to empowering and developing the leadership of young people through education, culture, and youth organizing trainings.
